5 more days...

I managed to do some grocery shopping and bathe our stinky dog today. I'm waddling more and more due to some seriously jacked up hips, which apparently runs in my family because my mom said her hip would practically come out of socket the last few weeks of her pregnancies. It sounds crazy, but it is really hard to just get around the apartment or roll over in bed right now!

The baby has moved a couple of times today in such a way that it looks like a scene out of alien, with a knee or foot or something pushing out from my belly button and sliding over to my ribs. Its weird to think that I only have a few days left of these strange feelings- then he will be in our house, in his bed, wrapped like a burrito in blankets while we frantically search for the mute button.

Charlee says ...you sure have acommplished alot of things. I love the hat for the baby, it's cute. I'm so glad that the baby can join us for Easter. How is David and Jack doing? Your belly is awfully big now. I'm so glad that I'm going to be an Aunt and you're going to be a mom. I love you. Love, Charlee

Well, well, well...
I can hardly wait. I'm trying to wrap things up, and despite the fact that I spent $700 just two weeks ago at the grocery store, the refrigerator looks bare and everything left requries defrosting, soaking or slow cooking. So, in addition to collecting the money to carry to the airport today, gathering enough food to stock for six people, and packing, my mother left me three pages of last minute things to take care of at the office. Not to mention the plant will require a pump down to eliminate the inevitable upset while I am away. I must admit, that except for being concerned about traveling into uncharted waters to the very most northen extreme, I'm much more comfortable about leaving the kids behind. I guess except my own new series of events into (much, much older)womanhood, I am beginning to remind myself of you, or should I say my younger days in trying to get all of this taken care of so I can be away from the house and kids. Can't wait to see you guys. Love you! ;)

Yay! It will almost be like a mini-vacation for you, with just two crying kids to deal with (Me and Dr. Peanut)! And don't worry. We bought you some earplugs so at least one person can get some sleep!
